Comic Life 1.5.1 OS X 10.4 Tiger users
PLEASE NOTE: Users running OS X 10.4 Tiger, and recently updated to Comic Life 1.5.1 - and are having crashing issues, please read below:

An issue has occurred with Comic Life 1.5.1 for users running OS X 10.4 Tiger where dragging images or loading documents with images is crashing the application.

For those of you that have updated, you may go back to 1.5 by downloading here.

We have now pulled the 1.5.1 update and are looking into the issue - we will release a 1.5.2 update to fix the issues as soon as we can.

We are very sorry for this issue and offer our sincerest apologies.

Comic Life Magiq 1.1 for Mac!
A Comic Life Magiq for Mac 1.1 update has now been released.

This free 1.1 upate adds the much-requested ability to import Comic Life .comicdoc files.

It also has a few more Snow Leopard compatibility fixes we missed the first time and several other minor improvements.

Please update from within Comic Life Magiq or from our downloads page.

 Doozla crashes when run managed account - 2009/05/19 01:38 Hi,

I've been experiencing crashes from Doozla when running the software from a managed account (i.e kids limited account), I get the beach ball and the system becomes unresponsive and the mac needs to be turned off.

The problem does not occur when it's running from a standard or admin account.

Running on Mac OS X 10.5.7 on an 08 iMac with the registered version 1.1.2 (v12591).

Any help would be appreciated.

No, i'm not using the workgroup manager on this mac.

The crash only seems to occur on my daughter's managed (i.e limited) account which is launching the application from 'Simple' finder, as I haven't been able to recreate the problem when doozla is run from my full access account on the same mac.

 Re:Doozla crashes when run managed accou - 2009/10/08 03:28 i'm getting the same lockups when running in controlled environment (via apple's workgroup manager, as mentioned), have not experienced same when logged in as admin, just as you. i was hoping to see an update that might address it, otherwise may contact the plasq folks to see if they have an idea.. will repost if so
