Logitech webcam as audio in to RAX? - 2005/09/25 23:22
I have the unregistered version of RAX and I am having trouble getting live audio into RAX. I have a Logitech QuickCam plugged in via USB, and I have its audio selected in OS X's Sound prefs pane (Sound -> Input -> Unknown USB Audio Device) and can see that the mic is live because the input level meter in the control panel jumps.
In RAX, I have selected Source -> Audio -> Audio M1 and sure enough I get an input channel called Audio M1, but I don't know what to do next. When I ctrl-click on it, the only option I get in the context menu is "No Input". I am really trying to use the mic in the QuickCam so I can sample to Musolomo. I am using an M-Qudio Keystation 49e as my MIDI controller.
Is it possible to do what I want? Will this setup only work with the registered version (which I will buy if I can get this setup to work)?
Thanks!
