Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

 Dummy Crashes Logic!!! - 2006/07/09 19:18 Greetings,

Perhaps I'm asking too much of the dummy instrument...

running 3 computers: 1 master with logic, running to 2 slaves, midi over lan, and all audio back to master.

after I load up about 17 or 18 dummies (i've really lost count)...I eventually get to the point where I can't load any more Dummies..and if I try to open the interface display in Logic...it crashes!...and I really can't use the Dummy again...not even if I empty the instances and load just one....or if I empty the instances, save as a new logic song, and load just one instance.

What's the deal???...wasting a lot of time rebuilding at this point.

DummyInst contains some very old code. It is unchanged since the WormHole1 days and it is possible that it causes troubles. We will provide a replacement soon (also make it Universal Binary compatible). Until that is done, you could just use any synth-plugin instead. Bascially DummyInst is just a synth plugin not doing anything and most virtual synths won't use a lot of CPU if they are not playing any notes.
