Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Re:Whoah!? - 2006/07/14 15:15 I did some more testing and got Rax and Pro Tools connected on the same machine. And yeah, abc 123..
Using Rax as a 'go between' I can do what I want, kinda.
The Pro Tools end looses it's connection every few minutes and is quite latent, but it does 'work' and the CPU spikes are gone.
Between the added CPU useage of a 2nd host and the hassle of setting that up I'm not quite sure it's worth it.

Any suggestions or advice, please let me know.

Re:Whoah!? - 2006/07/15 04:47 Hi Tim,

this is Adrian, the coder of Wormhole2. Unfortunately, I don't have that wrapper, so I can't say what's really the reason. In general wrappers don't work very well with WH2, as it relies on the WH2 instances being able to talk to each other and with a wrapper that does not work well. However that would just make WH2 use more CPU, not cease to work at all.

Is there anything adjustable in that wrapper? If you can adjust the blocksize for processing, then you would need to set it to 1024 or lower as WH2 can't work with very large audio chunks.

Re:Whoah!? - 2006/07/15 06:31 Hi Adrian.
Thanks for taking the time to try to help me out.

Nope, the FXpansion wrapper will not let me adjust blocksizing.
The silly part is that I can connect fine on the same machine (Rax + ProTools).
I've tried all the buffer setting I can think of but no luck so far.
If you're interested, I started a thread over here:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=142695
because I think this is such a great concept and I would love to be able to use it.

If you think of anything else to try, please let me know.
