I've only recently come back to working on a Mac after many frustrations getting audio applications to function properly/reliably in performance situations on a Windows laptop. I'm much happier so far with running my applications on the Mac, but am missing a full-featured and quick performing rack-style application like the Forte application distributed by Brainspawn. Unfortunately Forte is a Windows only app, so I've been looking for a Mac alternative.
Rax seems like it is moving in a great direction, but the performance when moving between songs is far too slow - with Forte you can nearly instantaneously load up a new song with different instrument presets in the rack.
Another wishlist for me would be to fix the bug in the current version that prevents MIDI automation of the mixer - I really need the ability to mute/solo instruments using a controller on my MIDI keyboard when performing, and the fact that this isn't working in the current version is holding me back from purchasing it at this point.
