It's not currently in the interface. Will you be dropping the "Extend" tool? Seems like a duplication with the new balloon feature.

KeynoteKen Visitor	Re:Comic Life 1.3 Beta - 2006/09/18 06:39 While going through the steps in this thread. http://plasq.com/component/option,com_joomlaboard/Itemid,55/ func,view/id,4679/catid,8/ I found that attempting to copy the pasted in balloon doesn't do anything, ie, I'm unable to Paste it after Copying it, neither in Comic Life nor into an external app. This works to copy and paste into Comic Life in 1.2.6 Also, the quality of the .pdf image displayed in Comic Life for PDF objects is low. Not sure if this is something intended for 1.3 or if it is a fix intended for further down the road.

We have a new build available for download now - we shall call it CL 1.3b2

Download it here: CL1.3b2.dmg

It has some fixes that were identified in these forums (thanks KeynoteKen

)

Please give it a try -- and for those with a new intel Mac machine, could you specifically try re-saving an old PowerPC file as the new .cld file and try opening it up on your new intel machine.

Mark Visitor	Re:Comic Life 1.3 Beta - 2006/09/30 18:13 I am puzzled [not a strange event!] I have a intel Core2Duo iMac and am trying to open old PPCfiles that were made on an iBook. I am not clear about your suggestion but this is what I tried: • Double click 'old' file [.comic] • App opens with a postage sized version in the narrow left hand panel. • I go to 'Save As..' : • I Renamed file; • Unchecked 'Hide Extension' • .cld is added; • I save on my desktop. • Chime indicates action taken. • I can't find the newly saved file!! Spotlight search reveals nothing. ??
