Re:peripheral vision? - 2007/11/29 15:37 No problems with Leopard here either. However, it seems like the display of icons comes very late in the startup process than it did with Tiger.

Re: Drive icons - I think the PV is grabbing the new 512 pixel icons so the image shown is zoomed in on a small section of the icon which appears to include the activity light.

Re:peripheral vision? - 2007/12/29 02:20 Add my vote for PV!

I'm going to also talk it up at MacWorld San Francisco next month.

Re:peripheral vision? - 2008/02/16 21:41 Any news on Peripheral Vision. Just installed beta on Intel Leopard and only gripe is that it fails to start up when I log in. This bug already spotted by an earlier poster.

Great utility otherwise

Re:peripheral vision? - 2008/02/17 01:58 Just following up on the login startup issue under Leopard.

You can solve this by manually adding the application hidden inside the prefpane to your login items under System Preferences. The path to the necessary application file is as follows : /Users/YOURNAME/Library/PreferencePanes/Peripheral Vision.prefPane/Contents/Resources/Peripheral Vision.app

To see this application, you need to control click on the prefpane "Peripheral Vision.prefPane", select Show Package Contents and drill down. Note that there are two Peripheral Vision.app files hidden in the prefpane. You need to add the one noted above to the login items.

Works for me from login now without the need to hit "Start" under System Preferences.

Re:peripheral vision? - 2008/02/24 08:52 hi there...are you guys still working on Peripheral Vision?

Re:peripheral vision? - 2008/03/27 13:35 I've tried the universal beta, but it runs as a PowerPC app according to Activity Monitor

I was ready to pay up (have only had my Intel for 10 days) but when I saw it was still PowerPC . . .

Any news? Do you guys have the rights to this? It is a very useful item.

Hope it comes out for real, soon. I won't like being without it.
