Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

Few Questions - 2006/11/26 00:21 Hello

I have a few questions regarding wormhole.

Firstly let me explain my setup.

My main PC i am running Cubase.
This is where i intend do all my mixing.

For my slave system i have a iMac, running Abelton Live.

My intention is to run a synth such as 'Massive' on the iMac and have it audio routed directly into Cubase.

I've installed WH2 on both my pc and mac.

on the mac i have Massive loaded to a midi channel and WH2 loaded after it.

On my PC i have a blank audio channel with WH2 as an insert.

I have successfully been able to get audio from the mac into cubase.

My problem / question is.

Question 1.
Is it possible to sync both machines so when i hit Play/Record within Cubase, it also plays the mac.

At the moment i am having to loop a section on the iMac and then record it in on Cubase on the PC.

Question 2.
Is it possible to router a midi channel from cubase via wh2 to the mac and then route the audio produced back over to Cubase on the PC.

As at the moment, i am having to export the midi parts within Cubase and then transfer them over to the Mac and import them.

As you can i don't really know what the limitations are of this program are.

Ive i can this program to work efficiently i shall be purchasing.

Re:Few Questions - 2006/11/27 10:21 Wormhole2 does only transfer audio, not midi. What you need to solve both the problems is routing midi. Unfortunately for that you'll need another application in addition to WH2. One that can do what you need is MidiOverLanCP, more details here: http://www.musiclab.com/products/rpl_info.htm

Hope this helps.
