Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

A way to abort the "Share" - 2007/02/02 01:29 I accidentally clicked the "webpost" button before I changed the location. So, I just wanted to change the location then repost, but I had to click the "Share" button (and view the website) first.

Re:A way to abort the "Share" - 2007/02/07 23:28 yeah.. we are not happy with that interaction either. We are working on a better interface for that.

If you have any ideas, shoot

Re:A way to abort the "Share" - 2007/05/30 00:28 Hmm. Depending on where you were: possibly Command-. though that could be confusing. Other than that or Esc can only think of a cancel button and an accompanying kbd shortcut. Not having used it can only guess at where that juncture is in the code. Re:A way to abort the "Share" - 2007/05/30 05:28 Just looked at this interaction and was thinking about what "usually" means "opposite" on OSX and I THINK it might be "Shift". For example, on this page, if you hit space, you jump down the page. Holding down "Shift" and hitting space, you scroll up the page. The same interaction works with form fields and Tab/Shift-Tab.

Right after initiating the upload, the interface could be made to wait for "Share!" to be answered before going further. A tooltip at the top could indicate "shift - unshare" ie, remove the graphic from whence it was posted. (the Green button could change to a red UN-Share one) I'd imagine "Option" could work just as well.

Either way, to allow changes to the image while "Share!" is being displayed should probably be prevented. (And the small triangle to the right of "Share!" should be dimmed as well)

Re:A way to abort the "Share" - 2007/05/30 05:45 "Un-share." I like that. That's pretty hip. very "2.0" ;-]

Re:A way to abort the "Share" - 2007/06/04 00:50 And just bumped up against the other part of this. I want to "rapid-fire" upload several shots to MySkitch and don't want to "Share" in between. If that could be a parameter for that in the drop down and in the parameter screen (to go right to another capture or to do intermediate disclosures of the uploaded image), that'd be cool.
