Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/07/31 07:38 Is Rax even available still as a demo I can download and use at least for a few days? There is no other software like it for OS X (at least that I have found).

Please definitely do not sell RAX to Apple UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! If their handling of Logic Pro is any indicator, we probably wouldn't see an update until 2015!

Hi all,

We aren't letting Rax die. We are selling it to another company. We are very close to announcing who this is.

Good to see there are so many passionate people out there for Rax!

Well, great...I'm really happy for you. No doubt you got a better price for Rax after you started this thread. What a clever way to persuade the buyer that Rax still has a following. And by taking Rax out of the download section you were able to get a lot of Rax users to reply to your post real quick. What other possible reason could you have for pulling Rax before you put it on the market? You couldn't wait for the closing of the deal? Right. If you made the transition painless for us you might not have gotten results you wanted. (Not as many replies from Rax lovers to show the buyer.) Meanwhile, we have to sit and wait. I think that stinks, and I will never buy another of your products (no matter who is selling them) again. I'll find substitutes for wormhole and Comic Life, and of course Rax.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/08/08 01:17 Mike,

I'm sorry that it has taken this long to be an issue also. The announcement is imminent however.

We removed Rax from sale (and download) because we didn't want to disappoint people if we couldn't find a buyer. (we would of supported existing owners of course)

Selling it right up to the point of removing it from sale would have been unfair to those who did pay good money for it.

I hope you and everyone understand
