Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/02/13 05:33 Well I just came here again to finally buy it... I vote for any action that ensures further development, be it open source or giving it to another company.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/02/13 16:39 Please make them open source. They are really where the future is for audio. Both Rax and Wormhole that is.

Maybe if they can be used to assist FX Teleport to finish his Mac port, that would also be good.

All the best to the plasq crew.

PS Please dont get bogged down in in-decision. Such inovative programming can't be waisted in cyberspace! Act sooner than later.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/02/14 06:15 I'm glad I have my copy !
I perform with Rax 1.2.3, which seems to run Ivory a little better then 2.
Development must continue on Rax. I like the songlists in 2, but 1 is just a cleaner machine for me. I'd like to see a version with the features of 2 with a cleaner leaner interface.
The world needs good $49.95 software! What is the nearest Rax-like product, and how much does it cost ?

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/02/14 10:46 Hi Al

try

DSound RT PlayerPro
Brainspawn Forte
Xultop Chainer

PLASQ please make RAX open source so it can be used live in LINUX. It would really give LINUX a boost.

FX Teleport will soon release thier MAc port. It should cover thw wormhole market.

And as the Jack windows port is improved, it will take up the slack. Already working great between Mac and Linux.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/02/15 00:21 I would sure love to see RAX as open source as well as wormhole. I agree that wormhole could be an excellent compliment to the Jack client or even Cycling74's Soundflower.

Seems to me that most home studios are just getting to the point of having multiple computers in them and your software has a great solution to using multiple machines. I think you should hang in there! I'd buy your product. Or like to see it as freeware available. Seems a shame to just have it dissapear.
