Cranium Comics has recently launched their first four color comic, Brawn #1.
"I used Comic Life on my Mac exclusively to lay out the storyboards, then later when I created and colored all 24 pages of the issue," recounted Anthony Rezendes, the owner of Cranium Comics and co-creator of Brawn.
The comic 'Brawn' focuses on a dockworker named Sam Ross who was reborn as the hero "Brawn" after he was nearly killed in a drunk driving accident.
"Being an illustrator, it saved me quite a bit of time from having to lay all the text bubbles out manually. It made the process of actually creating the comic that much more enjoyable," Mr. Rezendes added.
We think this comic is great! So check out 'Brawn' on the Cranium Comics site or read the first 5 pages on our Comic Life gallery.
Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/02/21 16:13My March issue of Sound On Sound turned up today. I read about Rax in the article on MIDI networking for DP so I headed straight here and...!!!
So if some one takes it on or even if it gets mad available for sale with no support let me know...
Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/02/22 09:38One of the reasons I got a MacBook was so I could get rid of my 50 lb gig rig. My back's still complaining! Another was because I thought Macs were meant for musical creativity. I'd been a Wintel user for years and figured that they just didn't have the stuff I needed. Lo and behold, Rax is the only program like it that somewhat fits my needs for the Mac. Yet I can get Brainspawn's Forte/Ehco for Windows and it is EXACTLY what I'm looking for except for $150 more. If it wasn't for Pro Tools, I would declare my investment in Mac a TOTAL LOSS. Alas, I have one day to register my Rax2 before it provides no practical functionality. Please make a decision soon. Another company you may want to consider offering these products to is Sound Quest. Thanks for letting me rant.
Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/02/23 02:06I headed over to this site today to check out RAX. I have a lot of AU synths, and I don't want to load up a big sequencer all the time to use them. RAX seemed like just the thing. Please don't let this die on the vine...I'd still love to buy a copy.
Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/02/24 18:26<sigh> apologies, that was uncalled for; negativity never helps. a visceral reaction to something i care very much about. feel free to delete!
Rax ReWired and Wormhole/Rax integration i have been waiting so very long; i hope it will happen - so close to being wonderful wonderful. best wishes.
Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/02/27 03:44Personally I really liked Rax. Is it possible for us registered users to still download the last released version? I just did an erase and install on my laptop and I'd like to use Rax on it.
