Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/06/02 14:00 You HAVE to continue selling it. Now as half of the world moves to Intel Macs, running both Windows AND OSX this product is more important than ever.

I just wanted to download the trial version for evaluating it with my brand new macbook and - i am very disappointed that i cannot download it.

I understand you want/have to respect users that have purchased wormhole in the past, but what is with US potential new clients!? I want to try/buy it because i have some well loved VST plugins which are available under windows only bu t still want to use them on my MAC.

Your competitor - FX Teleport - only offers windows versions. Soundflower etc. cannot be used between windows and OSX (at least not with Parallels Desktop?)

If you do not want to continue developing the product and you do not want to give additional support for new users, why not sell it a little cheaper and make it clear that NO support is included and that it is not going to be developed further ?

Or .... make it free. but please, do something!

kind regards,
frank

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/06/02 14:09 Hey Frank,

We are finalizing the sale of Rax to to another company.

Wormhole is less uncertain, but we don't let it die. Will either be sold or opensourced.

Glad you are so keen for it

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/06/04 22:07 Any chance you could let us know who is going to adopt your little orphaned child Rax? If not a name then at least a hint? Big company or small, US/European/Asian etc?

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/06/11 21:48 Apple should buy Wormhole and implement it in Logic as Wormhole beats Logic Node hands down.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/06/14 04:19 Hi all,

Being a plasq products user and musician to boot, I have never used Rax or Wormhole. I have wanted to for a while now but obviously couldn't due to the decision of the Plasq team not to sell them any more.

Now you can imagine my surprise when I started up my internet browser and sitting on my homepage is.......... a review of Rax 2!

http://www.macworld.co.uk/digitallifestyle/reviews/ index.cfm?reviewid=2185

This is a current page so what gives, guys? Do the good folk at Macworld UK not know of your stance on this or do they just know something we don't?

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/06/14 08:26 Hi leftback,

It would seem that Macworld UK does not know of the current state of Rax - it looks like they have used portions from an old review (Sep., 2006) located here.

Apologies for the confusion
