This latest update for Comic Touch (1.2.2) (direct link to App Store) addresses several issues that popped up with the release of the latest iPhone 3.0 update.
The update fixes UI display, photo rotation issues when going into landcape mode, and image effects display issues.
Please update from within iTunes or using your iPhone/iPod Touch device.
We are aware of the issues currently affecting iPhone and iPod Touch 3.0 users with Pharos IV: Assault.
We are currently working on a fix for the stutter issue in Pharos IV: Assault. As a work-around, you can set the Music to OFF in the Options in Pharos IV (it's OK to use iPod music) to solve the 1s pause problems on 3.0 (if you are using a 3G iPhone).
A Comic Life for Mac 1.5 update has officially been made available for download.
This latest free update has several exciting new features including the eagerly awaited easy-to-make Single Panel comic creations, ability to import other Comic Life documents, and the option of having referenced images to speed up open and save time.
Plus a bunch of other features and improvements. The full release notes can be viewed here.
As always, this update is also for the Deluxe version.
Please update from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.
This is a small but important update that all Comic Life Magiq users should update to immediately. It addresses a change in Mac OS X 10.5 relating to temporary files that was causing a loss of images within comic documents being edited over a number of days.
Please update from within Comic Life Magiq or from our downloads page.
Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/06/15 15:17I hope, really hope, you're selling it to apple...
I never bought rax since i use mainly logic pro's plugins to play live (therefore i configured a special logic environment to do that), but i wish i had a rax-like application working side by side with logic (with maybe some adjustmements).
Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/06/22 11:571. Sell to another mac developer like Rogue Amoeba Software. They already make some little sound apps, so it may be right up their alley, depending on the programing tools used. This will keep the quality of the app up as they will be getting money to maintain and improve it.
2. Open Source it
3. Make it freeware with no support and a forum dedicated to it and the users who use it.
3. Part II: Make support available for purchase for the next 30-60 days for those who want to pay the same as buying it. It's an odd way to sell sw/service, but a good tweener for those who still wanted to buy it, while you are giving it away free.
Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/06/24 13:52I, for one, would love to see these products as legacy freeware without support, but I'd love to see them updated, as well, as the OS evolves... I've been looking for something like Wormhole recently. The possibilities of this thing are endless. I am a pro audio engineer, and this tool looks awesome. I would love to get my hands on a copy of it to wing sound back and forth between my studios!

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/06/29 06:24I agree. I REALLY need RAX. It's the only viable workaround for Spectrasonics plugins for Intel Macs - for me anyway. The V-Rack will not load on my system.
Please Plasq. Do the right thing: Free RAX and Wormhole.
