Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Printing Problem - 2005/04/23 16:15 I've got a little printing problem that is driving me nuts. My page format is set to Letter. I layout and complete my comic page, and EVERYTHING is well within all the dotted red outlines.

When I try to print directly from Comic Life to my Epson Photo820, the bottom 1/8 of an inch or so of the comic page gets cropped off.

How can I prevent this?

Thanks for any help.

I'm having a ball with this. I'm even starting to shoot my photographs with Comic Life endproducts in mind!

I'm seeing this too ... something is wrong with the 'offset'. In Portrait mode, the image data is offset too far down the page - with a blank space at the top, and missing data off the bottom.

In Landscape mode, everything is all jogged too far to the right ...

(Same thing happens no matter which of my printers I use, so I don't think it's the printer driver ...)

This is with 1.0.1 ...

Re:Printing Problem - 2005/04/23 16:52 Ahhh, Mr. Bull. I know you from your fine Woodblock printing website. I am a block printer as well.

Anyway, I seem to have fixed the problem by going to the File menu, pulling down to Page Format, and then changing the Top and Bottom margins to 0.

Mine's quite a bit more than 18 points ... around two centimetres ... so that wouldn't do it for me.

Funny meeting here! Got any images on line?

This is embarrassing for me. I DO have some stuff online, but it is VERRRRY old (at least 10 years). I have a pile of carved blocks waiting to be printed. Summer project perhaps.

Anyway, here is the link to the old stuff:
