Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/03/28 10:30 So could we please have a status update on the situation for RAX? What's the plan?

(I'd personally vote for opensourcing it)

Thank you.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/03/29 06:33 Having just bought a Mac Mini as a satellite soft-synth player, Rax and Wormhole were key to doing this all via Ethernet. The only plea I would make is that it gets one more rev. to make sure it runs within Leopard. That would give us users a bit more time to enjoy these two great products. I hope you'll consider this. Thanks.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/03/29 20:24 Extremely annoyed. I use Rax as part of my gig and playing software. Why did Plasq buy Rax from Granted software if it's only going to be put to waste. Can you either find a developer that is prepared to maintain it or make it opensource so that it can live on. I know many mac muso's that are in the same position as me and I didn't know of or use any Plasq software until you aquired Rax.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/04/04 07:50 Is anyone from Plasq actually reading this? It's really annoying that there is no update on the status.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/04/05 23:28 Hello there,

Sorry for the lack of information - we are in discussions with some other software companies to take over and develop Wormhole and Rax.

People's responses on what to do with Rax/Wormhole has been pretty varied; but one thing we do know, is that people want them to stay alive. We do too -- and we are trying to make this happen.

Nothing has been decided, so I can't give anymore details out than this.

Apologies for being vague and thanks again for your patience and thoughts on the future of where Rax and Wormhole should go.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/04/06 00:52 This is amazing software, and does some things that no other performance software does! I vote for opening the source!! Then maybe I could figure out how to get the open source version of Milkdrop (projectM) compiled to work in RAX. The devs for projectM are currently working on a new version for mac that will work in itunes etc...I know alot of VJs like the milkdrop scene especially since it has so many amazing presets...
