Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/04/21 23:06 I'd love to see this app in open-source! I think the app would have grown in a very positive way.

Rigth now, I'm in desperate need for rax 2, and its frustrating not being able to buy it.

Can't you guys just ... release it for free or something I have found no other app AT ALL that does what i need, this simple and slick.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/04/23 01:08 If anyone's interested, there is a free alternative (sort of) available from Apple. It's called AU Lab, and it's intention is as an AU developer testing tool, but it looks like it could actually perform a similar live setup function to RAX, at least the audio portion. It can be found on the Tiger DVD as part of the Xcode Tools.

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/04/24 15:34 Hey all..

We are in the final stages of selling Rax to a great company who will take Rax forward.

Wormhole2 looks like it may go the same way but this is less certain.

We will keep you up to date!

Thanks for hanging in guys!

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/05/12 01:03 You have a great product - why not continue to develop it? Is it money? Trust me, if you cleaned up the code and made it more responsive/quicker, we would have paid just about anything you would ask. I think it is a premature idea for you to get rid of it. Apparently there are some risks in devoting your time to further development, but I thing dumping it completely or selling to other developers is a bad and financially unsound idea. Have noticed the interest this software generates? There must be a reason? Do you agree? You have an unique program that has a definitive place in the future of music making. Take a chance, hire more developers to help you clean up the code. We'll buy it from you. If you decide to get rid of it however, make it open source (not my preferred choice) so somebody as passionate about music will pick it up and continue developing.

Good luck to you. I wish I could still buy it from you. I would.

Best, Bob

Re:Future of Rax and Wormhole2 - 2007/05/12 06:38 On your first post you suggested Jack as an alternative to Wormhole. The network component of Jack was removed by its developers over a year ago because it was too buggy to use. No disrespect to them, that's the nature of Open Source.

You on the other hand have a viable product which people want to use. It shows a complete lack of respect for your customers to take it off the market like this. What's the alternative? FX Teleport? I'm a Mac user and the port is already delayed 2 years.

Wake up. Put it back on the market.
