Thank you very much for your help testing the future!

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta - 2007/06/03 11:47 Hi there,
I was thrilled to see a windows version of this software and immediately downloaded it and began to use it....but there was a problem which I see that most users have posted about - sometimes when you export the images, the text in the baloon may not appear completely in the image.

Also, my laptop slows down a bit - I use a windows xp system on a celeron processor on my laptop - I have 256 + 512 mb of ram and yet my laptop slowed down when I began to use a higher dpi resolution for exporting the image.

This is all I have to report for now, being a Beta Tester and all!

One request though: Can you add some right-click functionality to this software? I mean, as a windows user, I am kinda used to this.

Finally, congratulations for your efforts, and it is truly commendable.

Windows version XP

What you expected to happen: for the text to export in the same way that it displayed.

Thanks James for the great bug report. We are currently working on getting this fixed -- we hope to get this fixed for the next beta.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Madhavi, does it speed up again after the export?

Is there any right-click functionality in particular that you want?

Finally, congratulations for your efforts, and it is truly commendable.

Cheers big ears for the kind words

Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta - 2007/06/05 00:06 I'm trying it out at work with XP SP2. I have a problem copying and pasting lettering. The pasted letters have all the properties of the copied text (i.e., the fill and gradients are the same as the original in the sidebar), but only the bounding box around the letters are visible, not the text itself.
