Please visit the forum for more information, including where to download the beta.

Thank you very much for your help testing the future!

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

print bug - 2007/05/08 06:51 I am happy that you made a windows version at last! And I hope you will manage to solve soon all the major bugs.
As for me the bugs so far I encountered are:

1) Cannot print
2) Print preview doesn't work
(but I can export to HTML)
I have a CANON PIXIMA and windows xp. I never had nor have problems on printing with other programs so far)
3.1) I use some an external hard disk (USB connection), and the "explorer photos" little window (the one on the right handside) doesn't work very well: the pulldowm menu doesn't show computer resources or other drivers (like my external hard disk)
3.2) I think it should be possible to enter the path (like "D:BeppeMy Photos") in the field "Folder:"

Best regards
Beppe

Re:print bug - 2007/05/28 08:38 When I use the print preview the document looks different than the actual document when printed. For example: the text boxes fit as I add them, but when printed they look larger and no longer fit the page. No adjusting actually changes the error.

Thanks for beta testing

> 1) Cannot print

Does it come up with any Assert info? Can you take a screenshot if any error message appears?

> 2) Print preview doesn't work

Again, does any error messages appear? Please take a screenshot of the error.

Issue 3 - will be solved in beta 2 - you will be able to see all the drives that you see in My Computer.

If you like you can email the screenshots to : clwinbeta@plasq.com - along with steps leading up to the problem.

Thanks heaps

We are trying to improve this type of functionality before Comic Life is released - we realize that at the moment how it changes when printed is not optimal. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Re:print bug - 2007/06/07 22:15 Hi

Trying to use the beta in a School environment, sending to a printer takes around 5 minutes for a single page comic, and preview shows a blank page with the PC frozen. PC is running XP Pro and the printer is a networked HP2550N.

However, exporting to jpg's and printing from there works fine, so am using that to get around the issue.
