Cranium Comics has recently launched their first four color comic, Brawn #1.
"I used Comic Life on my Mac exclusively to lay out the storyboards, then later when I created and colored all 24 pages of the issue," recounted Anthony Rezendes, the owner of Cranium Comics and co-creator of Brawn.
The comic 'Brawn' focuses on a dockworker named Sam Ross who was reborn as the hero "Brawn" after he was nearly killed in a drunk driving accident.
"Being an illustrator, it saved me quite a bit of time from having to lay all the text bubbles out manually. It made the process of actually creating the comic that much more enjoyable," Mr. Rezendes added.
We think this comic is great! So check out 'Brawn' on the Cranium Comics site or read the first 5 pages on our Comic Life gallery.
Education before taking a job - 2007/06/05 10:53I think learning more skills must be useful for us in our daily life and work. So I want to learn some more knowledge before I take any job. But I don't know where to start. I have only found some related sites, education directory , escuela militar and college student loan . I wonder if you could give me some other suggestion or recommendation. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Re:Education before taking a job - 2007/07/24 17:53Mastering a foreign language is surely important for us nowadays. I think the best way to learn a foreign language is in a trip to other country. You can speak to the native people to improve your oral language and you can also learn more than the language. I spent several days in Spain and learnt a little Spanish there with the local people. They're all very friendly and hospitable.
Re:Education before taking a job - 2007/08/17 15:37Yes, gaining more knowledge is necessary for us. But what to learn is mostly depend on what you like most. You can find the interesting thing to learn and working for it. But I also think when your favorite thing becomes your work; it may be a regret thing. Maybe you can work for on thing and leave the favorite thing for your leisure yet. You can try! These are only my own personal opinion for advice.
Re:Education before taking a job - 2007/09/20 10:56That sounds a good idea to learn some other knowledge before take any job or after graduation. Gaining more knowledge, there must be more chance to get a job. The two sites maybe give you some help, teacher appreciation and public schools.
Re:Education before taking a job - 2007/09/20 11:17I find this thread very interesting. Seems all posts are originating from the same user - although that person is using a different account name each time.
They are having a conversation with themselves and embedding links in the chat. Coming back every month or so.

Re:Education before taking a job - 2007/11/28 10:09Sometimes I am tired of my present work and I want to relieve the stresses and strains from work, so I would like to ask is there any good idea or tips on making me more happier or feel relaxed? I oftern go to the dance hall to sing and dance or play sports on weekends, but that is not enough, always doing the same thing is boring. Recenty, I found on the internet that learning a new skill during spare time is a good idea, it can make us more intellectual and make more friends. Such as, golf club and career change are I've come acrossed. If you find any interesting things or have the same feelings as me, please chat with me.
