Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta 2 - 2007/06/27 00:20 I just tried exporting a single page to an image and it worked. Have you tried just creating a single blank page just to see if there's any way it does work for you?

Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta 2 - 2007/06/27 03:58 Can do a 72 dpi bitmap single page. Ideally would like higher quality and two pages, so shall continue to experiment tomorrow.

Thanks for the tip.

Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta 2 - 2007/06/28 20:10 Have just exported my 2 page comic as 300 dpi jpeg by doing each page individually. First page took 7 mins and 2nd one 10 mins !

Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta 2 - 2007/06/28 21:18 So you can successfully do any one page. Trying to do more than one... even if you wait 10-15 minutes, yields nothing?

Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta 2 - 2007/06/29 21:28 I've just been using Comic Life for about 24 hours, but here's some things I've found (platform: Dell D620 laptop, Win XP Pro).

- No crashes!
- No trouble exporting graphics, though I've only tried one-page comics, and BMP exports seem to take quite a bit longer than JPG.

- If there's just one comic open, there's no difference between File...Close and File...Exit, either way the program exits. If there's just one file opened, File...Close should close the file, but the app should stay open with no open comic (or, less desireably, stay open with a newly-opened blank comic).

- There doesn't seem to be a way to resize the "subwindows"(?). It is possible to drag the line between the page templates and the album windows, (up & down), but you can't drag the line between those two windows and the main comic window.

(THANKS! This thing ROCKS!)

Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta 2 - 2007/07/01 05:46 I just started playing with this a couple days ago.
Windows XP. Download took a couple seconds.

First, I get a pop-up saying I'm not registered yet. I should do this,correct?
Second. When it opens, the default images are my My Pictures images in my PC. Being thumbnails[I suppose?],they never fill the single square page I usually drag over.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong there.
My comics come out so small.

TIA.
