The great screen capture, annotation and sharing service has all grownup, left the plasq stables and become its own fully fledged company.

For users this change will not affect you in any noticeable way - skitch.com is still the main home and some of the same people are working on it but you'll be seeing big things coming soon!

Comic Life 1.5.2 for Mac is out!
Comic Life for Mac 1.5.2 update is now available for download.

This latest free update restores OS X 10.4 Tiger compatibility that broke with the recently released 1.5.1 update.

This update contains fixes from the previously released 1.5.1, which included several Snow Leopard compatibility fixes and a couple of other minor improvements.

As always, this update is also for the Deluxe version.

 Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta 2 - 2007/07/04 10:15 I teach Media to high school students (12-17y.o.) in Australia. I have taught a Unit of Work on Photo Cartoons to introduce Year 7 Students to basic digital photography (with purpose). I teach them photo composition, framing etc...

I have previously used Paint.NET & GIMP, along with MS PowerPoint to layout artwork...

I am VERY interested in using Comic Life in my Year 7 Media classes, and am trialing the Beta ATM. A marvellous program, and I am really looking forward to using the finished product in my classes...

I have only had one problem so far - a computer froze up whilst placing an image into a panel - but this might be computer related rather than program...

 Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta 2 - 2007/07/05 18:13 Hi, I am just getting the splash screen (Comic Life Beta 1.3.3 speech bubble). It hangs around for a few minutes and then vanishes -- Comic Life doesn't start up.

Any idea how to fix this? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling -- no dice.

 Re:Download Comic Life Windows beta 2 - 2007/07/08 03:43 When using the 'bigger' button on text in balloons which has already been increased in size, the first click always makes the text revert to the default size. It's not really a big problem, but the Mac version doesn't do it. Likewise, the smaller button reduces large fonts to tiny in just one click, rather than offering gradual reductions.
