Cranium Comics has recently launched their first four color comic, Brawn #1.
"I used Comic Life on my Mac exclusively to lay out the storyboards, then later when I created and colored all 24 pages of the issue," recounted Anthony Rezendes, the owner of Cranium Comics and co-creator of Brawn.
The comic 'Brawn' focuses on a dockworker named Sam Ross who was reborn as the hero "Brawn" after he was nearly killed in a drunk driving accident.
"Being an illustrator, it saved me quite a bit of time from having to lay all the text bubbles out manually. It made the process of actually creating the comic that much more enjoyable," Mr. Rezendes added.
We think this comic is great! So check out 'Brawn' on the Cranium Comics site or read the first 5 pages on our Comic Life gallery.
Unfortunately, 10.5's spaces doesn't currently allow a document to be dragged in this way - so we can't make dragme drag to another space unless Apple makes a change.
We'd love to do it, and would make it happen as soon as we can!
I am unable to upload to MySkitch without it giving a Webpost Error and my workaround of opening and closing Skitch and saving the shot etc then uploading to another site was, yesterday, only working in about 1 out of 4 tries. The day before it was around 1 in 7 tries.
It is all very time consuming and frustrating for someone who uses Skitch a trillion times a day.
Any more suggestions? I have updated to the latest Leopard AND Skitch.
Re:Skitch Testfix (Leopard Fixes) Releas - 2007/11/21 20:20One other thing you could try, if perhaps the Skitch Keychain file has become corrupted for some reason.
Launch Keychain Access
Select and delete the Skitch Keychain.
You then will need to re-authorize Skitch. Hope that helps!
You might be able to get Skitch working again by manually entering the DNS server addresses provided by www.opendns.com into your Macs network preferences, bypassing your ISPs DNS.
Re:Skitch Testfix (Leopard Fixes) Releas - 2007/11/23 07:24The OPENDNS thing worked for me - although it says to put the new DNS codes in the Ethernet place and that did nothing for me - I took a chance and put them in the Airport too (which made more sense than the Ethernet!) and within a split second I was sorted.
The jungledisc page confused me a little - too technical for me - give me diagrams every time!
Thank you for helping me EVERYONE - this has been well and truly testing my patience - the thing is - the iMac worked ok at work with the set up there even though both broadband connctions are with the same company.
