Comic Life packs a lot of 'Brawn'!
Cranium Comics has recently launched their first four color comic, Brawn #1.

"I used Comic Life on my Mac exclusively to lay out the storyboards, then later when I created and colored all 24 pages of the issue," recounted Anthony Rezendes, the owner of Cranium Comics and co-creator of Brawn.

The comic 'Brawn' focuses on a dockworker named Sam Ross who was reborn as the hero "Brawn" after he was nearly killed in a drunk driving accident.

"Being an illustrator, it saved me quite a bit of time from having to lay all the text bubbles out manually. It made the process of actually creating the comic that much more enjoyable," Mr. Rezendes added.

We think this comic is great! So check out 'Brawn' on the Cranium Comics site or read the first 5 pages on our Comic Life gallery.

6in x 4in page format - 2007/12/14 05:30 Hi Plasq,

Fantastic application (ComicLife for Win), bought it yesterday. Have been looking for a long time of an application enabling easy/intuative user interface to be creative with my photo library.

When I create a new comic there is a whole range of predefined page formats - A3, Letter etc. though as I am using this fantastic application I was looking for 6in x 4in page format.

At the moment it seems, and of course I am most likely wrong, I have to manually define 2814 pixels x 1876 pixels to give me the 6x4 photo layout.

Would it be possible to add 6x4 as a prefined page format or am I looking the wrong for the page format?

Added an example under image.

Re:6in x 4in page format - 2007/12/19 15:20 Hi there Paul,

Apologies for the delay.

As you know, you can change the page size by going to File then Page Format.

However, you then change the Custom Size (in points) to as follows: Width - 432, Height - 288

Because:
6 inch = 432 point (computer)
4 inch = 288 point (computer)

Margins:
Generally, leave as default: if need to change for certain reason, use the conversion URL below.

You can do your own conversion's here using this URL tool here: http://www.unitconversion.org/unit_converter/ typography.html

We are looking at making improvements with this page sizing in Comic Life 1.4 for Windows, so hopefully soon users will have more control.

Thanks, hope this helps.

Your creation is very cool by the way!
