Inconsistent output image quality - 2007/12/18 18:04 Hi Plasq,

Fantastic program. Of some reason I see inconsistent image quality on output file (see image).

The images used is taken with same camera and not manipulated so all four images should present same outcome.

WYSIWYG filtering is unticked.

Thank you in advance,
Paul

Re:Inconsistent output image quality - 2007/12/18 19:49 Hi Paul,

Thanks for the details and comparison image.

Unfortunately, at this small resolution it's hard to see the differences that you're illustrating - if you could email a full comic or a higher resolution jpg to forums at plasq dotcom with a note about the problems we may be able to deduce a solution.

Many thanks,

/Keith

Re:Inconsistent output image quality - 2007/12/31 04:07 I'm experiencing this as well in some comics.

I have 4 images, all originally at 1600x1800 pixels. I drop them into panel boxes that are the same size, and the top two become visibly blurred, while the lower ones retain their sharpness.

There doesn't seem to be any consistent pattern to why or when this occurs. I have a 4 page comic, and it happens on the first page, but not on the next 4 pages. File formats and sizes of the images are consistent throughout.

Deleting the panels in question and recreating them doesn't have any effect

I tried duplicating the page in question, and re-exporting the document and on that second version of the page a third panel suffers from the problem as well. So it's certainly not something to do with the source input, since now two source images have different quality levels on output.

Re:Inconsistent output image quality - 2007/12/31 06:44 Well a restart of the software seems to have fixed it all up.
