Comic Life for Windows and Comic Life for Mac have both been recently updated.

You may find the release notes for Comic Life for Windows (1.3.6) here and Comic Life for Mac (1.4.3) here.

This update is also for the Deluxe version.

Please download from within Comic Life or from our downloads page.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 Beta released
We are delighted to offer a beta of our upcoming Comic Life Magiq 1.0.3 update.

It has numerous stability and significant performance improvements over 1.0.2.1 - so we would love previous users to download and let us know if you come across any issues.

Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

 Re:vector or bitmap - 2008/03/11 03:40 Most all of the output options are bitmapped. But, if you export as .PDF, the vector parts created in Comic Life are indeed vectors (and you can open them in an app like Illustrator and edit the word balloons).

But Comic Life doesn't vectorize your bit mapped images that you insert.

 Re:dadser - 2008/03/11 23:58 HHMM, tried that, export as PDF and it produces a 4kb file, Illustrator will open an outline only of the file, sees it as a 'linked' file but I cannot get it to show the artwork even if I select 'preview' .
How are you getting this to work. ?

 Re:dadser - 2008/03/12 01:05 Glad you're online. Can't get PDF export to work at all. Would be useful to be able to create vector output. I use Illustrator but the immediate availability of such creative readymade styles and options with this app is brilliant!
It's dead simple, two lines of words on one blank page. It exports fine to 'images' as a Tiff and PS opens it fine, Illustrator also opens it fine as Tiff . Exported as PDF, Preview just sees a white page, no artwork, just like Illustrator.
I've attached a file, long story, part of a Youth Driven anti-drugs campaign.
