works with Manga Studio, like... Magiq! - 2008/05/09 14:31
First off, last week Smith-Micro (finally) released the update to the mac version of Manga Studio that allows it to be used with the Leopard flava of Mac OS X (10.5).
When sorting though the files and just futzing around, I noticed that the OS could do a quick look at Manga Studio CST files. Neat, I can now quickly look at the stories w/o starting up the program.
Now I'm playing with my fresh copy of Magiq and I dragged the folder that contains all my Manga Studio files. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Magiq can "look" inside the Manga Studio folders and show the individual pages -- which can then be selected, dragged and dropped on the current Page.
I can then add lettering and such. I'm still a bit busy with school and such, but I hope that I'll have some time to muck around with this combo/workflow soon. I attached an image that is more-or-less just a proof of concept. The artwork was imported as described above with just some titles added.
I really like Magiq, in any case.
Well played, Plasq. Well Played!
