Re:What templates would you like - 2009/01/05 09:43 Love the product. I think the above/below mentioned templates, trading cards, special occasions would be helpful. I think it would be even more helpful if you added more pix to the spray and the stamp features (the icon that looks like a disguise), or allow the use of all of them when you start with a blank comic, so we could have more flexibility when creating our own templates.
I like the idea of map symbols and other educational stamps as I am a teacher.

Re:What templates would you like - 2009/01/05 16:15 You can already do this effect IN Comic Life Magiq! (the robot reaching out of the panel) Looks quite nice, too.

Re:What templates would you like - 2009/01/08 15:01 REALLY!?!?!
Wow... if this can be done, I'd really like to learn how.
I haven't been able to figure it out as of yet!

It there instructions somewhere that can explain how this is done.
Thanks for letting me know!

Re:What templates would you like - 2009/01/10 11:47

Here's an example I just roughed out. The difference between the image in the panel on the left and the image in the panel on the right is that the one on the right has had Magiq Snip done around the robot hand. Magiq Snip COMBINED with Pop Out (with the left option checked) yields the effect.

The downside is that it pops out the robot hand on ALL sides, so I had to move it up to the edge of the panel border in order to make it look as if it's only extending out one side.

Just another fun little trick you can do with CLM!

Re:What templates would you like - 2009/01/11 10:27 THANK YOU so much KnK!
I'm going to be implementing that in my web comic!
I just got Comic Life Magiq very recently, so I see I still have a lot to learn!
Again, thank you for that demo! I can't wait to use it!

Re:What templates would you like - 2009/05/20 22:40 I love the program, but it's not very useful for making actual comics. The templates you provide are really "greeting card / photo album" templates. And just providing different framesets doesn't do much more than help me lay things out.

To make this a true Comic generating program, I need templates with:
-- Detective/Crime/Mystery themes;
-- Horror themes;
-- SciFi themes;
-- Movie themes;
-- Different comic styles (e.g. Peanuts, Crumb, Manga, etc.)

Also, it would be good to have these standard graphics:
-- Buildings
-- Rooms
-- Furniture
-- Streets
-- Cars, trucks, bikes, bicycles, planes, etc.
-- Food
-- Animals
-- Different skies
-- Ocean animals and environment
-- Weapons
-- Explosions of all types
-- Police
-- Fire Dept.

Thanks!
