Comic Life Magiq 1.0.2.1 update released
A free update for Comic Life Magiq is available for all users.

Identical to 1.0.2c in all but version number, which has been changed to ensure 1.0.2 users are made aware of the 1.0.2c update via the menu: Comic Life Magiq > Check for Updates...

This 1.0.2.1 update is recommended for all 1.0.2 users and fixes a serious saving issue introduced in 1.0.2 that caused images to be left out of the document.

If you're already running 1.0.2c (v10939) you can "Skip This Version".

Head to the plasq downloads page to get the 1.0.2.1 update or update from within Comic Life Magiq.

A question - 2008/05/12 07:37 Hi plasq guys,
great work but before buying Comic Life Magic I want to understand if this program replace Comic Life or it is another program.
Scuse me for this silly, question but I don't have found any information

Cheers

Re:A question - 2008/05/12 08:39 I'm not one of the plasq guys, but I think I know the answer to your question. Comic Life Magiq doesn't replace Comic Life, think of it as a separate application that does some of the same things BUT requires OSX 10.5. Because of this, it has features that Comic Life doesn't have.

Incidentally, Comic Life Magiq doesn't open old Comic Life docs, so you'll want to keep the other app around for those files.

Re:A question - 2008/05/12 12:09 Hi Paolo,

Yes, KeynoteKen is correct -- Comic Life Magiq is an entirely new application. It can do everything the original Comic Life could do and more.. but due to it all-new-tech, requires 10.5 and also does not at this time open Comic Life documents. So for this reason, Comic Life will continue to be available in parallel with Comic Life Magiq.

I hope that clears things up!
