Cranium Comics has recently launched their first four color comic, Brawn #1.
"I used Comic Life on my Mac exclusively to lay out the storyboards, then later when I created and colored all 24 pages of the issue," recounted Anthony Rezendes, the owner of Cranium Comics and co-creator of Brawn.
The comic 'Brawn' focuses on a dockworker named Sam Ross who was reborn as the hero "Brawn" after he was nearly killed in a drunk driving accident.
"Being an illustrator, it saved me quite a bit of time from having to lay all the text bubbles out manually. It made the process of actually creating the comic that much more enjoyable," Mr. Rezendes added.
We think this comic is great! So check out 'Brawn' on the Cranium Comics site or read the first 5 pages on our Comic Life gallery.
word artwork in Chinese issue - 2008/05/15 11:05I'm using the macbook built-in version with updates.
I was able to use all the artworks in English but when I type in Chinese (Unicode), only the default artwork works! When I change to other artworks it makes my word disappear. How can I fix this?
Re:word artwork in Chinese issue - 2008/05/16 15:50Okay, here is what happen:
1) drag "lettering" into the page and type in some chinese character. It displays the chinese character with the default style.
2) when I tried to change it with other style, it disappeared.
I didn't change the font, just simply change the style of the element and it disappear...seems like the other style cannot support chinese characters...?
Re:word artwork in Chinese issue - 2008/05/20 00:17I've tried with Chinese font as well but it still disappeared after changing to another style element.
I figure that the same thing happened with special characters from the "Character Palette".
