Comic Life is great for sharing those funny little moments from school, in the office, or while on worldwide progressive-rock-legends tours.
Robert Fripp and Tony Levin have been sharing the day-to-day stories of touring within one of the most influential prog rock bands - on King Crimson’s 40th Anniversary Tour.
Ever wished you had the fun of Comic Life handy at all times? Ever been out at a party, family gathering or on public transport and wished you could add your 'comic touch' to a photo? Now you can!
We're giggling with glee to announce Comic Touch for iPhone and iPod Touch. Add various speech balloons and captions to your photos. Choose a fun special effect to warp and bend your family and friends, then email the results to them!

You can follow the authors travels on their websites - James McCann and kc dyer - where they will be doing a comic for each stop when they have a chance, using - you guessed it - Comic Life!
I'm sorry to hear you've had such a bad experience with Comic Life Magiq.
I understand how frustrating it can be to buy something and then find it doesn't work for you, or worse loses some of your work. We're working with Apple now to solve this issue, as it's quite deeply system related. Our beta testing period had not uncovered any of these stability problems that some users have experienced. We're sorry that some people have experienced such problems and are working hard to solve them.
Please DO contact us directly via http://plasq.com/support/ and we'll work with you personally to solve these crashing and printing issues.
Re:Major Stablity Issues - 2008/05/26 10:22I got the "application is not responding" thing... after I trashed the stuff in my "sites" folder .. as I wanted to update the site but it didn't appear to work the first time. Seeing as I had only 1 comic in the folder, I thought I'd just trash it and start again.
It does appear to work if I drag an comic onto the application icon in the dock.
Trashing the prefs (com.plasq.ComicLifeMagiq.plist) seems to have fixed it .. at least it starts up now.
Re:Major Stablity Issues - 2008/05/26 23:51Me too! It is VERY unstable. Often the simplest things, like altering the size of a text, cause 30 seconds of beach-ball, then crash! I've read elsewhere that there are problems with PPC (which is what my machine is). Are they fixed yet? Is there an update in the offing? However, having said that, it is such a fantastic piece of software, I am willing to wait for a stability fix...but, please hurry!

Earlier in this thread, Keith wrote: We've found and fixed an issue affecting some PPC users, many thanks to reports sent in - will be available in the next update.
