Thanks SO much for this .. I have really enjoyed playing around with it and have posted my efforts onto my website .. . if you want to see it, it's here:

I'm pretty new at these things which shows how good the program is I think, as I was able to work out quite a lot before I realised there was a help guide! Forgive me if the solutions are obvious - but the things I came across were:
(1) Crashed sometimes (when it happens again, I'll try to spot a pattern as to why)
(2) When I wanted to print after 12 pages it says Comic Life was out of memory [hence I have not nbeen able to print out a copy other than through the other export formats]
(3) the default font for the captions does not support accents ... I seemed to have to change the font for each page .. I expect there's a way of changing the default permanently? (e.g. to Comic Strip M).. if we were to use this in school, I'd like to be able to do this to encourage the pupils to use accents!
(4) I followed the instructions and double clicked a photo to try to remove it from the frame, but it didn't move
(5) I seemed to stumble across being able to change the shape of the frames with the blue 'nodes' .. but then I couldn't work out why some frames seem to allow this and some don't .. I'm sure all these things are explained in the help section somewhere - I won't be upset if you just tell me to read it propoerly!!!
I'll carry on playing .. and I'm going to try it out on some of my pupils when they've finished their exams - I'm sure they'll love it!
