Comic Life 2.1.1 for Mac Released

Comic Life 2.1.1 for Mac update is now available! This 2.1.1 update has various stability improvements and fixes.

Various bug fixes for issues encountered with the 2.1 update. That update incorporated a number of under the hood changes made in order to prepare for comic sharing with the iPad edition. Unfortunately it caused some issues which are addressed in this update.

Please note: The file format created with 2.1 and beyond is not backward compatible with earlier Comic Life 2 versions due to making it compatible with the iPad version. This might be a good time to make a backup of your Comic Life 2 comics (.cl2doc files) before resaving in the new version.

Users that have purchased Comic Life 2 from the Mac App Store - can obtain the update through the "Updates" section in the Mac App Store.

 

Upgrade pricing is available for registered Comic Life 1.x Standard and Deluxe users!

    i have been using this for awhile and it is great....how do i adjust "opacity" for colors,gradients in balloons,ect?Keep up the good work.

    Transparent page backgrounds are still broken.

    @ James: Opacity for balloons is currently not available as a feature. We may look at adding it in the future - but nothing planned for the immediate future sorry.

    @Matt - Sorry about that! We will fix in one of the upcoming releases. Very sorry about that :(
