Comic Life 2.2.3 for Mac Released on App Store!

Comic Life 2.2.3 for Mac update is now available on the App Store! This update is Mountain Lion compatible. Read for an important announcement regarding Sandbox compatibility.

Along with being Mountain Lion compatible, it also now shows the Panel Layouts when a Blank template is used, adds a 'Blank (with Styles)' template, improves compatibility for users with Aperture and iPhoto libraries that have been unified, improves importing of Comic Life 1 files plus other general stability improvements, memory leaks and bug fixes.

 

Two features have had to be removed in the App Store edition for Sandbox compatibility: support for external images in documents, and the Finder browser. This was not our choice, but something that was needed to be done due to the Sandbox restrictions.

 

TIP: You can use your OS X Finder - and drag directly from Finder into your Comic Life 2 document.

Users that have purchased Comic Life 2 from the Mac App Store - can obtain the update through the "Updates" section in the Mac App Store.
