A published author, Pinckney Benedict teaches creative writing at Southern Illinois
University Carbondale. Pinckney writes in, “I’ve always
loved comic books but have never been able to make them. Comic Life, along
with some other software applications, has allowed me to start making and
publishing comics, and I’m profoundly grateful.”

Since getting to create his own comics, Pinckney has done some very cool projects and has even published some comics. “Orgo Vs Flatlanders” is a full length graphic novel published in Idaho Review and The Versus Anthology from Press 53.

“Kentucky Samurai” is currently a short comic, but Pinckney is taking time to expand it into a full length graphic novel over this upcoming year.
