We know that educators have used Comic Life to teach in the classroom, but what about using Comic Life to teach at home?
Just recently we had an email from one of our users, Steve, with a great comic about his family’s trip to Washington, DC. I was excited to see this comic for a number of reasons, but beyond being a good looking comic this is actually a very useful tool. Steve and his wife are going to use this comic to improve their children’s sight reading skills. Pretty cool, huh?
Steve’s five year old son dictated all of the speech balloons and captions. And now that the comic is finished and printed out it will become a bed time story for their son to read to his little sister. Reading aloud their family trip comic will be a great way to improve sight reading as well as oral reading fluency.
