The announcement of the new Mac Pro means that every new Mac sold comes with Comic Life, preinstalled. w00t!

A new comic startup company, Dial “C” for Comics has just gone live with their new website. The site uses Comic-Book-Like design concepts to create a fun, clean, simple and effective website heavily leaning on Comic Life for inspiration and graphic creation.

We just posted a beta for our Musolomo 1.1.1 plugin which has a few little nice additions with the main update being the change to Universal Binary.

Today, June 13th, is International Puzzle Day celebrating the inventor of the Rubik’s Cube, Erno Rubik, who was born in 1944. What better way to celebrate than to have a game of Virtual Rubik’s Cube or our very own pluzzle?

Peter Kirn over at his new Create Digital Motion site has created a neat how-to Comic in Comic Life – showing you how to build a PC designed for Live music and video performance use.

Like a good software experience? …. Thought so.. Then influence (legally!) a developer to add Sparkle to their software. It makes the process of updating software a painless experience – or dare I say.. fun!?

Over the last few weeks, we have updated the Comic Life Gallery to contain a bunch of great new Comics from users.

Rax, plasq’s professional Audio Unit host software, has gone the big 2.0. A new focus on the visual factor in performing music has inspired ‘OnStage’ – an amazing full screen mode, a new refined interface and a powerful new visualizer component.

Comic Life has been updated to 1.2.4 which brings a series of small improvements and bug fixes. Comic Life now also comes with Spanish, German, Dutch, French, Italian and Japanese localizations.
