Comic Life 3.1 for Mac & Windows update is now available.

On the Mac side, this 3.1 update brings support for the new ‘Photos‘ app.

Along with various bugfixes and stability improvements, the update also brings the following improvements:

For Mac:

• Support for the new ‘Photos’ app (Mac OS X 10.10.3+)
• Lightroom support added
• Image resolution control for PDF export via ‘Export to PDF’ menu
• A Script only document can now be saved as a Template
• ‘Lettering’ now supports letters with accents/umlauts
• ‘Zoom > Actual Size’ view is now 1:1 (Mac OS X 10.7+)
• iPhoto searching now drastically improved (especially) with large photo libraries
• Opening a user created template, no longer opens the ‘Script Editor’ view
• The Script is now being printed when selected via ‘Print…’ menu
• ‘Export to Facebook’ integration now working correctly

For Windows:

• A Script only document can now be saved as a Template
• Added the ability to scroll up or down when moving pages in the ‘Page Overview’
• ‘Lettering’ now supports letters with accents/umlauts
• Opening a user created template, no longer opens the ‘Script Editor’ view
• The Script is now being printed when selected via ‘Print…’ menu
• Improved crash reporting on Windows
• Additional bug fixes and stability improvements

IMPORTANT for Windows users: Choose “Yes, download now”, but before installing update please close ‘Comic Life 3’ before continuing with the update found in your Downloads folder.

Then when installing the update, it will ask “Are you sure you want to uninstall this product?” Choose Yes. And it will then uninstall and reinstall the 3.1 update.
