Does Comic Life 3 work with the new OS X 10.10.3 Photos app?

Yes! Comic Life 3.1 added support for the new “Photos” app.

If you choose to convert your iPhotos library to “Photos”, then Comic Life 3 will now detect the new “Photos” library.

Please update to Comic Life 3.1 – and have fun!

Does Comic Life 1 or 2 work with the new OS X 10.10.3 Photos app?

No. Neither Comic Life 1 or 2 will support the new OS X 10.10.3 “Photos” app.

If you choose to convert your iPhotos library to “Photos”, then Comic Life 1 and 2 will not detect the new “Photos” library.

Both Comic Life 1 and 2 are no longer receiving updates.

You may like to upgrade to Comic Life 3 – it costs USD$14.99 – and you can do so here.

Alternatively, a suggested workaround – is to drag from Photos to Desktop (or another location) and then into Comic Life.
